Nearer and Farther Away

Daniel flew to Oregon today. When we talked to him yesterday, he said that since we live so close to the MTC, he didn’t actually feel like he had left home yet. He said it felt like he was at band camp because everything was still familiar. He said it was weird to think about the fact that he would have to get closer to home before he left it. Today he rode Frontrunner and Trax out to the airport, so he did indeed, ride closer to home before getting much further away. He arrived in Oregon, safe and sound, and now the real adventure begins.
