This evening Mr. Rushmore came up in the course of our conversation. I could give you the whole train of thought that led us there, but I’ll spare you the torture of needing to think like one of us and just share the punchline. Kevin mentioned that Mt. Rushmore was closed for renovations and Malia declared, voice dripping with sarcasm, “What are they gonna do? Blow it up and add another president?”
