Malia got a letter in the mail a couple of days ago. Matthew got one today. Neither one includes any actual words, but they were the best letters our family has received in ages. You see, the letters to my kids were sent by my 3-year-old nephew Sam (with some help from Rachael, his mom). We gave him an outgrown but not yet colored coloring book a few weeks back and he was super happy about it. I wonder if the letters my kids received were a thank you?
