Nathan
is our music lover. For the past two years he has been lucky enough to be able
to participate in his elementary school choir. Several of the teachers
volunteer their time to run the choir and another retired teacher comes back to
play the piano. This year in addition to performing for the school and for the
parents, the choir got to sing for the residents of a local retirement home
which was pretty exciting for Nathan.
Tonight was the performance for the parents
and one of the teachers made a point to come talk to me to let me know how much
she had appreciated Nathan’s involvement. He didn’t miss any practices or
performances even though he was off-track for half of the rehearsal time and
all of the performances. His attitude was great and he was super excited about
the whole thing. So here is a little taste of the concert, featuring Nathan in
the spotlight:
